Sibetan village, which is famous for its "salak" or snake skin fruit is located in Bebandem district, 15 km from Amlapura. As one of tourist destination in Karangasem, Sibetan village offers natural panorama (agro tourism). The cool climate and the comforting air make salak grows well in this area. Here, visitors can find various vegetations of salak with different tastes. The vast salak garden in this village is also interesting to see.

Almost 81,12% of Sibetan's area, which is 1.125.000 hectares, is turned into salak garden. Thus, about 14 various vegetations of salak can be found here, in which it cannot be seen in other areas.

Taman Soekasada Ujung has been announced to be a cultural tourist object for it is noted as one several cultural heritages exist in Karangasem regency.

The complex of this water palace is the combination of Balinese and European architectures. There are 3 big and large ponds inside the area.

TIRTAGANGGA

Tirtagangga is situated at Ababi village, Abang District. It is about 83 km from Denpasar and 6 km from Amlapura to the north.

Tirtagangga Water Garden scratches on a 1,2 Hectare area, which consist of three complexes. The first complex lies on the lowest level of this area, where we can find two ponds and a water tower. The second complex in the middle level is the location where we can find swimming pool.

ACCOMPANY MY GRANDPA

Yesterday, my family and I went to the Gedong Gandhi Ashram located in Candidasa, Bugbug village, Karangasem. It is only 12 km from Amlapura city. There, my grandpa follow acupuncture therapy to recover from the hypertension. Gedong Gandi Ashram is a very nice place, It is located across Candidasa Temple. It’s so natural with many trees and flowers. There are some cottages with unique design, library, and also kindergarteen on the reverse side. While waiting for my grandpa, My sister, brother and I were walking along the Candidasa Beach..

We were playing on the white sand and looking for cockle shells. I also took some pictures, off course. From the beach, we can see Lombok Island in the east and Nusa Penida Island in the south in a distance. It’s very, very beautiful…

I live in the eastern part of Bali Island, Karangasem regency. Karangasem is bordered at the north by the Java Sea, at the east by Lombok Strait, at the south by the Indonesian ocean and at the west by Klungkung, Bangli, and Buleleng regencies. Karangasem itself consists of eight districts namely: Karangasem, Manggis, Rendang, Selat, Sidemen, Bebandem, Abang, and Kubu. I live in Karangasem districts. The capital of Karangasem region is Amlapura. Honestly, live in Karangasem is a godsend to me. It has an extraordinary variety of scenic landscapes.
